If you knew you may live to be 100 years old, how would you change your rowing technique, bio-mechanics or lifestyle?
Dr. Bob Cummins and Anna Cummins were honored to be in attendance and as a part of the workshop presenters looking to best answer the quest for life long rowing. Many thanks to Seattle’s Pocock Rowing Center director, Briana Schulte, for organizing a impressive event: the Masters Rowing Symposium on Lifelong Rowing on September 24th.
The day was spent learning from the experts to keep one rowing for life. In six different workshops, attendees learned about everything from musculoskeletal injury to power output and stroke efficiency. The presenters encompass a broad range of professional roles, from chiropractors to sports medicine doctors to personal trainers.
